Cambridge Fish Preservation & Angling Society

About the CFPAS.

The Cambridge Fish Preservation and Angling Society (C.F.P.A.S.) was founded in 1885 and was formally known as "The Jolly Anglers". Over the past one hundred years, the C.F.P.A.S. has grown to be the biggest angling club in Cambridgeshire and one of the largest in East Anglia with a membership fast approaching 1500.

Our late President, Jack Baker, O.B.E. HON M.A. Cantab, was instrumental in the foundation of the National Federation of Anglers (N.F.A.) and the Society is affiliated to the N.F.A. (Eastern Region). C.F.P.A.S. was also a founder Society of the Cambridgeshire and Isle of Ely Federation of Anglers.

C.F.P.A.S. like to offer angling venues to all kind of Coarse Anglers and our mixed fisheries are amongst some of the best in the Country.

Our committee, headed by our President Graham Tweed is dedicated to building up our portfolio of fisheries, constantly on the lookout for new acquisitions offering new angling opportunities for all all types of Angler.

By becoming a member of Cambridge Fish Preservation and Angling Society you will be able to fish our ever increasing portfolio of over 20 miles of quality river fishing, two lakes, four pits and one pond.
