The innovative design of the Torpedo model offers significant advantages over other flat floats.

The Torpedo overcomes problems often associated with this style of fishing – it does not ‘ride up’ in the water or vibrate in turbulent or windy conditions; the pressure of flowing water holds the body down in line with the flow, ensuring a very stable and sensitive presentation even with baits off the bottom and the rig allowed to run slowly at the fish -- an impossibility with standard ‘lollipop’ floats.

In sizes between 0.5gm and 5gm, Torpedo floats are supplied with two interchangeable bristles. Floats of 6gm and above (up to 50 gm) are supplied with bristles in different colours (two standard and three flat). Also provided is a quick-fitting ‘tuning’ device that is used to exaggerate the down-force effect of the water on the float.  In strong flow, the body will be forced well below the surface – an extra long and reversible colour bristle is included for use in these circumstances.

A float developed for specific use on Bolognese rods but will suit any running line set up, the Bolo requires setting up for left or right directional current. This can be achieved in seconds by changing the top wire and does not need rigs to be broken down. This feature, the specially angled stem and the hydro-dynamic body design will allow you to hold back hard without the float drifting in across the current.  In a good flow, the Bolo can virtually be stopped and held in position — absolutely brilliant!

The new Bubble float has been developed primarily for use on the pole but can be used successfully on the long rod.  The ’Bubble’ retains some of the streamline design features of the famous Torpedo and can therefore be held back hard with the flow having little adverse effect. It is ideal for running through the swim at your chosen speed and can be ‘dotted’ down to provide the ultimate in performance and sensitivity. This float should not be underestimated. It performs brilliantly and has been the choice of a number of international teams. It has the advantages of both traditional oval and flat floats, being effectively two in one.

Bubble floats are provided with two inter-changeable bristles on   2, 3, 4 and 5 gm versions  ; two interchangeable bristles and three flat antenna on sizes 6gm versions .   They have a waterproof polyurethane body and can be changed without dismantling the rig.
