Here at Benwick Sports we like to think
we give you the angler just a little bit more than some other shops.
This is why we have arranged our Spring Open day. It is your chance to
meet some of the best anglers in the world. Whether you fish rivers or
commercials we have a fantastic line up of anglers for you to meet. We
will have a full pole alley set up in a showroom 2 doors down from our
shop and demonstrations throughout the day. Best of all it is free, with
no entrance fee to pay. |

The public face of RIVE. Didier is one of the best
anglers in France and is involved in the design of many RIVE products.

Alan Scotthorne. |
Alan is regarded by many as the best match angler of all
time with five individual World Championship titles under his belt, and
6 World team medals. Alan's portfolio does not finish there, winning the
world club champion title, three times Individual European champion,
four times European team champion, three times Individual European
champion, two times UK champion, six times 6 Nations Champion, two times
home international champion and hundreds of opens on the UK match
circuit. |

Nudd |
If you haven't heard if Bob then where have you been for
the past 20 years. World champion 4 times and still performing at the
highest level on the local match circuit. |
 Mark
Pollard |
Polly is one of the best all round anglers in the country
on both commercial and natural venues. Brand manager for Fox Match
gear. |
 Steve
Ringer |
Steve is a full time angling consultant for Shimano,
Korda (GURU) and Ringer baits. Steve is again, one of the best
commercial anglers around and if you need to know anything about carp,
he will know the answer. |
 Neil
Machin |
Fisho-mania winner amongst many other titles. Neil is a
consultant for Garbolino. He is the man responsible for the method mould
but loves pole fishing for carp. |
 Nick
Larkin |
Nick owns and runs the well known Nisa Feeders. Anything
you need to know about feeder fishing, Nick is your man. A local expert
on the Yare and takes some beating on the pole feeder. |
 Lee
Kerry |
Lee is a consultant for the
Sonubaits team. A top-flight match angler with the Barnsley Blacks match
squad. Lee has fished at youth level for England three times and is a
former Fish-O-Mania finalist. His favourite species is roach and his
favourite style is long pole on deep canals and rivers with bloodworm.

Andy has worked as a Sales Representative for Maver for a
number of years and fishes at the top level every week with Maver
Barnsley Blacks. |
 Will
Raison |
Another world champion, Will is best known for running
Gold Valley lakes and as a consultant for Daiwa. He is again one of the
best all round anglers anywhere. |
 Steve
Cooke |
Steve is a consultant for Garbolino and has an enviable
list of match achievements at the top level. He is responsible for the
design of Garbolino rods. His vast knowledge covers most tactics which
are used today. |
