STRETHAM LAKE & OLD WEST RIVER.
Stretham lake is a mature lake that was created and stocked 20 years ago.
It is about 2 acres with plenty of trees and shrubs around the banks. It varies in depth from about 4 to 16 feet deep.
Species in the lake include
Carp(20lb+),Tench(8lb+),Bream(7lb+), Perch(2lb+),Crucian carp(3.5lb+),Roach(2lb+),Rudd (2.5lb+)and Pike (20lb+).
This water can be very prolific in spring and summer with large bags of Bream & Tench being taken in mild weather.
The river,the Old West is about 15m wide and offers good fishing for Roach,Bream, and P erch and Pike especially in winter.
Lake rules are :
Barbless hooks only
Keepnets only used in club bookings.
