Expanding the hugely popular Red Range of rods and reels, the 11m Red Range Carp pole offers an exceptional value package coupled with real performance.
The Red Range Carp makes a quality long margin pole, a good second pole for experienced anglers and is also an excellent choice for a first pole.Importantly, it is a true 11 metre model that is perfectly fishable and manageable at this length. As the name suggests, it is more than strong enough for carp and commercial fisheries. It is also stiff and responsive enough for catching lots of silver fish.
Top Kits & Elastication:
It comes with a top two Carp Kit in the pole plus a spare top two Carp kit. These kits measure approximately 2.3m and are ready to elasticate straight from the bag. As they come, the Carp Kits will accept a 4.2mm Super Slick PTFE Bush (2.9mm internal diameter). Two of these bushes are supplied, which are ideal for light/medium solid elastics and perhaps even up to yellow 10–12 Carp Bungee hollow elastic or equivalent.
If you prefer to use thicker elastics, two larger diameter 5.4mm Super Slick PTFE Bushes (4.2mm internal diameter) are also supplied. The pole will only need trimming back approximately 18cm to fit these much larger PTFE Bushes.
Side Pull System:
We pride ourselves in the extras you get with a Drennan pole so, just like our top-of-the-range models, the Red Range Carp also features factory-fitted Side Pull Slots. This allows you to take advantage of our Roller Cones and the revolutionary Side Pull System. Once fitted, the Side Pull System provides amazing performance to both solid and hollow elastic and makes fish playing an extremely smooth process.
Extras:
You also get two Skid Bungs, EVA nose cones for the No 2 (ready fitted) and No3 sections, two Cupping Kit Adaptors, a Polemaster Pole Pot, four internal PTFE bushes, a Roller Cone extractor rod and eight Side Pull Beads as part of the package.
Cupping Kit Choices:
The two threaded cupping kit adaptors are supplied should you wish to convert one of the Carp Kits into a Cupping Kit. Two sizes help to ensure that your cupping kit is the same length as your top kit, which is vital for accurate feeding.

Pole Warranty link
We have listed information below which explains what is covered under your manufacturers pole warranty. This is intended to help you understand what may or may not be covered and in no way affects you statuary rights under the sale of goods act or any other current legislation.
- Pole warranty (UK only) is time limited from date of purchase and varies according to manufacturer. It is not based on how many times you may have used the pole or when you started to use it.
- Always keep your proof of purchase.
- Pole warranty (UK only) covers manufacturing faults or material defects only.
- Accidental damage or misuse is not covered. For example damage caused by crushing, incorrectly fitted section or impact damage would not be considered for replacement.
- Any modification to sections would invalidate your warranty. For example, drilling kits for puller systems would be considered as modification, even if the sections have reinforcement to allow this, it is at your risk! Fitting nose cones would also be considered as modification.
- Benwick Sports may in certain circumstances agree to change sections if we feel it is a genuine warranty claim. If we are unsure we will return the section to the manufacturer for them to make the final decision. If we advise you that it may not covered under warranty and you wish us to return a section to the manufacturer for a second opinion then you may be liable for both the sending and return postage from the manufacturer if they refuse a warranty claim. All poles sold mail order the customer is expected to return the section to us at there own cost for inspection. Any replacement sections would be sent free of charge.
- Consequential loss as the result of a section breakage is not covered under warranty. For example if a section breaks and you were to lose a top kit this would not be covered under warranty.
- We always advise customers to insure poles against accidental damage or loss.
- All goods which are supplied by us and sent outside the UK are not covered by the manufacturers usual warranty. For example if you buy a rod or pole and a section breaks within the UK warranty period we cannot claim against our supplier as their warranty is only valid inside the UK. We would always suggest that you insure expensive items against damage during use in case of breakages.
