This float is a unique design as it features a much heavier 2.4mm aluminium stem which gives the float much more built in weight than previous designs. This makes it much easier to cast at distance and gives much better control in fast water.
These floats are much easier to control where you have a downstream wind as the weight holds the float better and gives something to 'mend' the line against. This all leads to better presentation and hopefully more bites hit.
The best way to shot these floats is with strung out shot from 1ft below the float to within 10 inches of the hook.
