Please note that some delivery addresses within the UK may be subject to a higher than standard delivery charge, for example Scottish Highlands or Islands. Higher UK charges for Northern Ireland & Channel Islands will be automatically added to your shopping basket once you are logged in to your account if the delivery address is in one of these areas.
We reserve the right not to supply goods at the rates listed above if the cost of shipping is much higher than the quoted price, in which case we will give you the option of paying the higher rate or cancelling the order.
IMPORTANT - Extra delays are possible during busy times like Christmas.
UK Small Items
The choice of 'Standard' or 'Express' service is available at the time of ordering. Standard service is usually 3-5 working days (after dispatch) and Express service is usually 1-2 working days (after dispatch).
Deliveries are made any time between 7.30am & 5.30pm and may require a signature. If a signature is required and no-one is available a card will be left at the delivery premises and the package can then either collected from the local Post Office or a new delivery date arranged via the carrier's website. In this situation a confirmation email from the carrier will be sent when the order is dispatched (please check your junk email folder). In some cases you will be able to arrange a re-delivery at no extra cost, but this is not always possible.
UK Large Items
The choice of 'Standard' or 'Economy' service is available at the time of ordering. Standard service is usually 1-2 working days (after dispatch) and Economy service is usually 3-5 working days (after dispatch).
Deliveries are made any time between 7.30am & 5.30pm and require a signature. If no-one is available a card from the carrier will be left at the delivery premises, this is sometimes backed up with some other form of attempted delivery proof like a dated & timed photo of the premises. This constitutes a delivery attempt. You will then have 3 working days to arrange collection of the goods from the local depot or to re-arrange delivery via the carrier's website. In this situation a confirmation email from the carrier will be sent when the order is dispatched (please check your junk email folder). In some cases you will be able to arrange a re-delivery at no extra cost
Oversized Items
Approximate size limits for fixed price shipping rates shown above:
- Long Box 1 - 185cm(l)x25cm(w)x25cm(d)up to 25 kilo. (Most Rods, Poles etc.)
- Heavy Box 2 - 60cm(l)x40cm(w)x40cm(d)up to 25 kilo. (Other goods)
Multiple Parcels
Due to the high cost of carriage to the Channels Islands and some other UK addresses including Northern Ireland, if your order requires us to send it as more than 1 parcel, for example a very long item and a large bulky item is ordered, then a higher carriage charge may be needed. If this is the case we will contact you before dispatching the order.
Important
- If you ask to leave the delivery in a 'safe place' either via our website or via the carrier, Benwick Sports will not be responsible for any loss. Carriers will always record this request on their system.
- If goods can't be delivered (and you are unable to collect them) they will be returned to us. In the case of Large Items this will incur an additional handling charge of £10.00, which is payable by you.
- If goods are returned to us because they cannot be delivered then you will be liable for the cost of re-delivery.
- Any package that shows signs of damage on delivery must be signed for 'Damaged' by the customer or refused delivery. It will then be returned to us at no extra cost.
- If goods go missing while being shipped we cannot put in a claim with Royal Mail or a Carrier for at least 15 working days.
- We cannot send items using a BFPO address as this system is only for family mail only.
- Working days do not include weekends or Bank Holidays.
International Delivery link

Some remote delivery addresses within the countries listed above may be subject to a delivery surcharge. If this is the case we will contact you before dispatch if extra postage is applicable. If in doubt contact us before ordering.
Shipping Rates for Other Countries
If your country is not listed above then we may still be able to ship to you:
- Check if your country is available in the drop-down list when you enter your delivery address via the Checkout process. If it then you can use the Request Quote option to get a shipping quotation for the items in your basket.
- Alternatively, please contact us with your Basket Ref. displayed via the Checkout process.
USA, Canada and South America
Unfortunately we are unable to ship to or accept card payments from the USA, Canada or any South American countries due to trading restrictions. The high insurance premiums involved to cover the cost of the different legal system in these countries make it uneconomical to ship to these areas at this time. Should we find a more reasonable insurance quote for shipping to these countries we will re-add them to the list of areas we can ship to. Apologies for any inconvenience caused to these USA & Canadian customers.

- If any parcel is damaged when our delivery partner tries to deliver it to you then you must either sign for the item as 'damaged' or refuse to accept the delivery, it will then get returned to us at no cost to you. Once you sign for a parcel you are signing to say it is in good condition and we are unable to claim for any losses.
- If the postal service or carrier is unable to deliver the goods for any reason then they will be returned to us and you will be liable for the original delivery cost plus any re-delivery charges.
- If goods go missing while being shipped we cannot put in a claim with Royal Mail or a Carrier for 15 working days.
Product Returns link
Please contact us to arrange the best way to return any goods which we supply incorrectly or which are faulty.
We will either refund customer postage (up to the value we charged on the order) or arrange collection.
Any goods which are returned for any other reason including returns under the distance selling regulations must be returned unused and in the original packaging. The customer must pay return postage costs. We always advise sending goods to us ‘tracked' and insuring them against damage or loss. If you are unsure please contact us first.
We will not refund return postage costs more than you originally paid unless agreed in writing.

If you are viewing this website from outside the UK or you are delivering goods to an address outside the UK then all prices displayed on this website will automatically will be shown excluding tax.
Taxes and Duties Payable
For any orders delivered outside the UK you are responsible for paying any taxes or duties due in your own country related to the order, plus any admin charge added by the Carrier (see below for details).
In most cases these will be payable directly to the Carrier locally before delivery of goods.
Taxes
This is your local VAT rate which will be between 17% & 27% depending on your country.
IMPORTANT: If you decide to return items to Benwick Sports for any reason after you have paid the local taxes then you are responsible for claiming any taxes paid back from your local tax authority if applicable.
Duties
This is a levy charged by your local customs. This is usually up to 2% of the order value, however this can be more.
IMPORTANT: If you decide to return items to Benwick Sports for any reason after you have paid customs duty then you are responsible for claiming any monies paid back from your local customs office if applicable.
Admin charge
This is a fee you will pay the delivery company for collecting the payment. Royal Mail delivery partners usually charge £6-10 in Euros and UPS usually charge £10-15 in Euros, however this amount could be more.
IMPORTANT: If you decide to return items to Benwick Sports for any reason after you have paid this charge then it will not be refundable by the carrier.
Failure to pay these taxes, duties and admin charges in the delivery country may result in the delivery being returned to Benwick Sports and in this case you would be liable for outward delivery and return freight charges.
