This float is ideal for when the original (No1) Alloy avon is a little too big and buoyant. It has been designed with species like Roach, Dace and Chub in mind and features long alloy stems and smaller diameter, tapered tops.
The reason for the tapered top is to allow the angler to shot the float well down when a bulk rig is used but sensitivity is needed.
This float can be held back hard in strong flows.
