What it actually does:
- It’s not a strong flavour – instead it works at a fish-detection level, encouraging fish to feed more confidently
- Originally developed for bream and skimmers (that’s where the “B/S 20” comes from)
- Helps hold fish in your peg longer and can improve the stamp of fish you catch
How you use it:
- Mix into groundbait (typically a bag to 2–4kg mix)
- Can also be added to maggots, casters, and particles
- Often combined with sweet additives (vanilla, caramel, etc.) for best effect
When it’s best:
- Works all year, but really shines in warmer conditions
- Ideal on stillwaters and slow rivers
