Pole feeder fishing is sometimes seen as being a bit 'crude' as it usually involves using quite a heavy feeder in the flow. Sometimes however this method need refining and this is where the micro pole feeders come in. On days where you cant quite hold a pole rig steady enough to entice a bite in slow flows then by scaling down your pole feeder setup and using a tiny feeder it's possible to 'nail' your bait down but with much more finesse.
