The Roach Slim is all about achieving perfect presentation while offering minimal resistance to fish. The elongated, slim body shape of this float means that anglers can perfectly lower a bait into the swim, a deadly way of presenting a bait to fish like roach and skimmers. It also suits it to lifting and dropping, working a bait to entice bites.
The slim nature of the float means that a taking fish also feels very little resistance, and this shape also means that the float can be struck cleanly out of the water –both advantages to hitting bites from shy-biting fish. The stem is made from wire, giving the float stability and sensitivity, and the bristle from fibreglass meaning it is both visible and very sensitive. The 0.2g, 0.4g and 0.6g feature 1mm bristles, while the 0.8g, 1g, 1.25g and 1.5g all feature 1.2mm bristles.
