Built on the hugely popular barbless Kaizen pattern, the Kaizen Barbed has been developed for anglers fishing natural waters where a barbed hook is the preferred choice. Retaining the proven shape and excellent hooking efficiency of the original Kaizen, this barbed version is ideally suited to targeting larger species such as bream, skimmers, tench and carp.

Available in both spade end and eyed versions, the Kaizen Barbed offers excellent versatility across a wide range of methods. The spade end pattern is ideal for pole and traditional feeder fishing, providing dependable bait presentation combined with a strong, secure hook hold. The eyed version is particularly well suited to hair-rigging baits such as worms, maggots and wafters, making it an excellent option when targeting bigger fish on natural venues.

A high-performance PTFE coating helps maintain the sharpness of the hook point for longer, improving durability and penetration while helping anglers convert more bites into securely hooked fish.

The Kaizen Barbed also features an offset point, designed to improve hook holds and reduce the chance of hook pulls during the fight. This added security is particularly valuable when playing larger, hard-fighting fish.

Available in sizes 20 through to 10, in both spade end and eyed patterns, the Kaizen Barbed provides a versatile range of hook sizes suitable for everything from finer natural-water approaches through to targeting powerful bream, tench and carp.
