Guru Kaizen Eyed Barbed Hook

Built on the hugely popular barbless Kaizen pattern, the Kaizen Barbed has been developed specifically for anglers fishing natural waters where a barbed hook is preferred. It retains the proven shape and excellent hooking efficiency of the original Kaizen, while offering the extra security of a barb when targeting larger fish such as bream, skimmers, tench and carp.

Available in both spade end and eyed versions, the Kaizen Barbed is suitable for a wide range of natural-water tactics. The spade end version is ideal for pole and traditional feeder fishing, providing excellent bait presentation and a strong, secure hook hold. The eyed version is particularly suited to hair-rigging baits such as worms, maggots and wafters, making it a great choice when targeting bigger, more powerful fish.

Each hook features a high-performance PTFE coating, helping the point remain razor sharp for longer while improving penetration and overall durability. This combines with an offset point to provide excellent hooking efficiency and a secure hook hold, helping to reduce the chance of hook pulls when playing hard-fighting fish.

Available in sizes 20 to 10, in both spade end and eyed patterns, the Kaizen Barbed covers everything from finer natural-water approaches through to more powerful tactics for bream, tench and carp.
