These floats are a very traditional pattern originally designed for caster fishing tight over on canals. This model has a balsa body and glass stem (1.0mm) and while it is still perfect on canals recently they have become popular on commercial venues for carp and silvers as well.
This model has a slightly thicker tip than the carbon stemmed version.
