Drennan Diamond Crystal Pole Float

By their very nature, pole floats have always been rather delicate, however the Drennan Crystal ® range all have extra tough, blow moulded bodies which cannot be line cut or shot damaged. By comparison to balsa or foam bodies, they’re effectively bullet proof!

The other major advantage over painted floats is that they are transparent, crystal clear and far less conspicuous to wary fish.

Although primarily designed for fishing medium to large baits in open water, the classic body shape of Diamond Crystal ® makes this a truly versatile design. The extra long, semi-flexible fibre glass stem acts like a keel, ensuring perfect behaviour and stability. The 2.5mm diameter hollow glow tip provides fantastic visibility in a wide variety of light conditions. And of course, this buoyant tip can be dotted right down on harder days and for shy biting fish. A full circle, carp side eye is mounted at the base of the hollow tip which is reinforced internally for extra strength. This full circle eye and mounting system protects the line and ensures the eye cannot be ripped out of the body, like a traditional side eye.
