This float pattern came about after working with top river anglers who all thought there was a need for much bigger stick floats than we’d been using previously for big fish approaches on certain days.
Mega Sticks should always be used with an olivette. We recommend the In-Line type, locked onto the line with shot.

For big baits like luncheon meat, corn and bread use a big olivette with no dropper shot as the weight of the hookbait is sufficient.

For bunches of maggots or casters, use a smaller olivette around 6g or 7g with a string of No4 shots underneath. This will allow you to present the hookbait better to species like chub and big roach.

RECOMMENDED SILICONE RUBBER

TOP – 3mm to 8mm mixed

BASE – 1mm
